Tender Leaf Toys are made from SVLK-certified reclaimed rubber wood, sourced from rubber trees that no longer produce latex. For every tree they reclaim, they plant a new one—continuing the cycle of regeneration.

Instead of allowing this wood to be burned, they transform it into high-quality toys, adopting a sustainable upcycling approach. While they are not FSC certified—since FSC guidelines focus on forest wood—their method emphasizes repurposing discarded resources, which can be seen as an even more proactive form of sustainability compared to practices involving initial forest clearing. Their innovative approach reflects their commitment to reducing waste and promoting regeneration.

Tender Leaf products are proudly manufactured at their factory in Indonesia, where every step of the process—wood drying, cutting, and painting—takes place under one roof.

All Tender Leaf products meet the European, American, Australian and New Zealand standard safety of toys according to EN71, ASTM and AS/NZS ISO. All of their products carry the CE marking and are tested to ensure they meet the highest standards.

Additionally, Tender Leaf Toys has earned the ICTI seal of approval, highlighting their commitment to upholding ethically high standards across their organization.
